GENDER NEUTRAL HAIRCUT GUIDE:
Beginning September 1, 2022, Moxie’s services will have a slight price increase.
We have also changed the way we book our haircuts. After careful consideration, we have made a commitment to be a gender-affirming, safer-space for LGBTQ clients. No longer will services reflect your gender. Moving forward, services will reflect the length of your hair and the technical difficulty of the cut. We are proud to join in with salons that have already made these adjustments and feel this is more in line with our culture. We hope you too will appreciate this move towards cultivating a more inclusive salon environment for all.
Here is a rundown of our haircut services at Moxie:
BARBER / CLIPPER CUT — Short haircut around the ears using clippers. ($50-$60+)
SHORT SCISSOR CUT — Short haircut where length lands around the ears/above the chin using scissor over comb. Includes pixie cuts. ($60-$80+)
MEDIUM CUT — Haircut where length lands from chin to collarbone. ($70-$85+)
LONG CUT — Haircut where length lands below your collarbone. ($80-$95+)
TRANSFORMATION CUT — Entirely new look! Cut and style change. Any major length changes. ($90-$105+)

Becky has been a cosmetologist since 2003. She ran an apprenticeship program for 12 years and received her instructors license in 2008. An Aveda Certified Color Educator since 2009 and in 2021 became an Aveda Purefessional for Color.
She’s got that special blend of advanced education and real-world experience under her very fashionable belt, making her the kind of stylist you want working on your hair and on your team. She loves this work because it pushes her outside of her comfort zone, encourages her to grow and introduces her to some of the best people out there—her guests. She’s known for her ability to listen to and understand her guests to make their experience the best it can be. A lover of all things creative, when she’s not in the salon she loves crafting, photography, spending time with her beautiful family and traveling.Â

At 5 years old Phil discovered his sister's Barbie and after being left alone with the Barbie and a pair of scissors, his world hasn't been the same. In high school, he did all his friends' hair and makeup for prom and even jumped in at the grad night party with a local salon to style everyone's hair. After years of doing friends and family for years, he still hadn't decided on making his passion into his career.
After college and a couple of years in corporate life, he finally took the plunge and began his career as a hairdresser.
The first decade of his career he spent refining his craft, doing editorial and fashion work; including being published in local MT magazines and fashion magazines like Nous and Italian Vogue. He also traveled and taught for Aveda as a makeup and hair color specialist and educator.
Now Phil has combined his love for hair and business as the co-host of the Podcast, The Beautiful Hustle. Along with his co-host Jessica, they produce episodes based on salon business, culture, and leadership. He has a passion for leadership development and career growth.
In 2020, Phil was invited to be a part of a global color team for Aveda called, The Color Squad.
When he is behind the chair, he is known for his bright blondes and vibrant colors. The biggest thing he's learned is to listen first to the guest, then do hair.
